Viridia gives 1% of its revenue — not its profit — to organizations protecting nature and biodiversity.
Why
A gardening app depends on living gardens. Fertile soil, insects, birds: everything our gardeners grow relies on healthy ecosystems. Contributing to them is not a marketing gesture — it is a condition of our craft.
How
The pledge applies to total revenue: web subscriptions and in-app purchases alike, in good years and lean ones. The model is inspired by the "1% for the Planet" movement, co-founded by the founder of Patagonia.
For whom
The beneficiary organizations will be announced on this page as soon as the first donations are made. Our priority: the biodiversity of gardens and everyday landscapes.
