Delete my Viridia account
Last updated: August 2026.
This page explains how to request the deletion of your Viridia account, published by WS VENTURES, and what happens to your data. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
From the mobile app
Open the Profile tab, scroll down to the Account section, then tap “Delete my account”, right at the bottom. A screen sets out the consequences, you confirm your identity, then you validate.
From the website
Sign in, then open the Security page of your account. Deletion is at the bottom of that page.
If you can no longer sign in
Write to contact@viridia.pro from the email address of your account, with the subject “Account deletion”. We handle the request within 30 days, the maximum period provided for by the GDPR.
A special case: shared gardens
If you own a garden that has other active members, deletion is blocked as long as that garden exists: erasing your account would make the garden disappear for everyone. The app then offers you either to delete that garden or to transfer its ownership. Your gardens with no other member are deleted automatically along with your account.
What data is deleted?
Everything that identifies you and everything you have created. Your profile (email, password, identity, address, biography, photo), your personal gardens and their plants, your observations and photos, your identifications and diagnoses, your Studio films, your forum posts and your comments, your subscriptions and Premium rights, your devices and notifications, your travel log, your consents.
The associated media files — photos and videos — are erased from our storage servers, not merely dereferenced in the database.
What data is retained, and for how long?
Anonymised audience statistics. Your browsing events are disconnected from your identity — they can no longer be traced back to you — and kept for internal measurement purposes: 180 days for events, 2 years for sessions.
Anonymised technical logs of calls to our AI models (duration, volume), with no content and no personal identifier.
The public content of a garden you do not own stays in place: it belongs to that garden, not to your account.
Where the law requires it, we may also keep the accounting records relating to a purchase (billing), for the applicable statutory period.
Retrieving your data before you leave
You can export all of your data before deletion, from the Security page of your account. The export is complete: profile, gardens, plants, identifications, exchanges with support, subscription.
Deleting only part of your data
You do not have to delete your account in order to erase a piece of content: plants, gardens, photos, films, posts and comments can each be deleted individually from the app.
For full details of the processing carried out, see our privacy policy.
