Care
Light Exposure
Golden zizia prefers full sun to partial shade to develop its brilliant yellow flowers. In very hot climates, some afternoon shade can be beneficial. Avoid dense shade which slows flowering.
Watering
Keep the soil regularly moist during the growth phase, particularly in spring and summer. Once established, the plant tolerates drought better but appreciates watering during extended periods without rain. Reduce watering in fall and winter.
Soil
Enrich the soil with compost or potting mix before planting. Golden zizia thrives in fertile, well-drained and slightly moist soil. Avoid compacted soil or permanently waterlogged conditions that risk rotting the roots.
Fertilizing
