Care
Light Exposure
Spring groundsel prefers sunny or partially shaded exposure. It tolerates bright conditions well and develops better with at least a few hours of direct sunlight daily. Avoid overly shaded areas that would slow growth and flowering.
Watering
Keep the soil slightly moist during active growth, but avoid excess water. Reduce watering in winter or during dormancy. Let it dry slightly between waterings to prevent root suffocation and rot.
Soil and substrate
Choose well-draining, light and fertile soil. A mix of all-purpose potting soil with sand or perlite works very well. This plant tolerates poor soils but still appreciates organic matter added at planting.
Fertilizer
Apply balanced fertilizer once or twice a month during the growth and flowering period. Excess nitrogen would encourage foliage at the expense of flowers. Reduce or stop feeding in autumn and winter.
Pruning and maintenance

Watch for possible attacks by aphids and whiteflies, especially indoors or under shelter. Powdery mildew can appear in stagnant humid conditions. Ensure good air circulation and avoid misting the foliage.
