Care
Regular watering
Keep the soil consistently moist without waterlogging. Water as soon as the surface dries slightly. In winter, reduce watering but don't let it dry out completely. A humid atmosphere promotes optimal development.
Dappled light
Prefer indirect light exposure, away from direct sun which can scorch delicate leaves. It adapts well to moderate shade, ideal near a north or east-facing window.
Light pruning
Pinch back young stems regularly to encourage a bushy, dense form. Remove bare or damaged stems. A pruning in late winter revitalizes the plant.
Rich, well-draining soil
